Richmond Opera to perform Handel’s Messiah at two local churches this November

The first concert will take place at St Mary Magdalene Church in Richmond on November 14, followed by a second at All Saints’ Church in Hampton on November 28. Both performances begin at 7pm.

Known for its dramatic solos, stirring choruses, and the famous Hallelujah chorus, Messiah remains one of the most enduring works in the classical repertoire.

A spokesperson for Richmond Opera said: “Richmond Opera’s performances offer audiences the opportunity to experience this remarkable work in two atmospheric local churches, accompanied by a Baroque orchestra and performed by soloists and chorus.”

Tickets are priced at £18, with under-18s able to attend for £9. They can be booked through ticketsource.co.uk/richmondopera or by calling 0333 666 3366.
